- טְלַםto bend, press, esp. (corresp. to h. עָשַׁק) to take undue advantage of, to oppress. Targ. Y. Lev. 5:21. Targ.Ps. 119:122; a. fr.Part. pass. טְלִים, (טְלוּם). Targ. Y. Deut. 28:33. Targ. Ps. 103:6 (some ed. incorr. טָלוֹ׳); a. e.Lev. R. s. 12 (ref. to Prov. 23:35) טָלְמִין ליהוכ׳ they overcharge him (in his drunkenness), and he knows it not Pa. טַלֵּים same. Targ. 1 Chr. 16:21.
